Design Notes
There is evidence that ER can be toxic to cells. However we found that while it does effect cell growth rate the toxicity was not lethal shown in Figure 1.
We also have to condsider that normally when ER forms a homodimer it is transported into the nuclease. However ER will not bind to the Estrogen Receptor Element unless it has been dimerized.
